This version had the basic DOOM engine, but there were many things still missing. Enemies didn’t move or do anything (they disappeared shooting at them), no barrels, still many graphics from Wolfenstein 3D were used, only two weapons (there were some more, but not usable), some unused maps, …

Right, they mistitled this game as it should have been ‘93 Lite Edition.
I’ll take regular Project-X anytime, here’s why.
Level 1 is shortened a good deal thus weapons takes a bit longer to fully upgrade.
There’s alot of distorted speech, and why no bombing run level or end sequence???
As i said they should have titled it ‘93 [...]
